Do you think there’s a reason behind Bridgerton’s success?

It’s something that everyone can watch and it’s easy to follow, you’re interested in all the characters. People are represented on the screen, it just seems like a glamorous, joyous time and a celebration of people. I think it took everyone by surprise how popular it was, but it just shows that people deep down love a great love story and love that kind of period.

“In Conversation with Bridgerton’s Rupert Young” by Fucking Young! (2022)

An interview by Mira Postolache for the rather provocatively named Fucking Young! magazine…

A letter to your FUTURE self. What would you write?

Dear Me,

Do not overthink. Try new things constantly. Do not be afraid of failing. Don’t procrastinate. Don’t worry about what others think of you. Don’t put off anything. Let go of things you have no control over.

Love Me.

“The ‘Bridgerton’ Cast Questionnaire” by shondaland (2022)

Another wonderful piece by Valentina Valentini on our Rupert!

Find the questionnaire on shondaland.com. Rupert shares lots of lovely thoughts on his own family, and then finishes on a delightful high note:

Is there a character in the series, who is not your own, whom you are drawn to or can relate to, and why?

Eloise. I love the way she doesn’t want to conform to what society expects of her and tries to live her life on her own terms.

“‘Bridgerton’ Has a New Lord Featherington” by shondaland (2022)

Wonderful interview by Valentina Valentini with Rupert about joining Bridgerton’s second season… but beware spoilers!

Find the interview on shondaland.com.

Rupert Young talks about joining the mega hit, and those spicy scenes between Lord and Lady F.

Bonus: There is also a Telegraph interview with Polly Walker (who plays Lady Featherington). It’s behind a membership wall, but this Twitter thread provides a good summary. Among other things, Polly says:

There’s not a lot of room for the exploration of mature love in the marriage mart world of Bridgerton. … it’s so good that they’ve shown that people over 25 have feelings, desires and needs.

Amen!

Bridgerton (2022)

Rupert appears in the second season of this popular TV show as Jack (the new Lord Featherington), looking absolutely fiiine in Regency clothes…

I can’t give much away about the plot without spoilers, so you’ll just have to watch for yourself! While the Featherington plots definitely play second fiddle to the Bridgerton plots, Rupert is in every episode, and does an excellent job as always.

You can catch Bridgerton on Netflix!
